World renown artist Andreas Charalambides honoured Web Master Website Design, by commissioning us to develop his new website, which includes an online shop to obtain his fantastic limited edition numbered lithographic art prints and silk screen prints, and which includes an online art gallery of his fabulous art works.
Andreas Charalambides has been exhibiting his paintings all over the world for over five decades, including solo and group exhibitions in some of the finest art galleries on the planet. This incredible artist was awarded a British Council Scholarship to study British Art at Reading University England in 1975, and was described by Sir Terry Frost (who exhibited with Andreas on many occasions) as “a painter who nurtures and develops tradition” .“A lifter up of the spirit, a master of the necessity for quiet contemplation.”
We were referred to Andreas by a client, and I had the privilege of meeting Andreas in his studio in Paphos, and seeing some of his original art works in person. I was inspired by this meeting, to develop an online gallery of Andreas’s art, in addition to a website which displays information on past and present exhibitions, the artists full biography, quotes about Andreas and other features, which combine to make a very enjoyable experience for anyone who enjoys fine art.

Manchester City Club fanwear company, created by Man City fans, for Man City fans; IBleedBlue, have decided to commission Web Master Website Design to design & develop their new Ecommerce / online shop website.
 The IbleedBlue concept is fantastic, in our humble opinion. The IBB guys, who are avid Man City supporters, have designed a range of very cool, great looking Manchester City themed Tshirts, and are in the process of increasing their range to include iphone cases, mugs & other gifts.
Starting off by exhibiting at some official Manchester City events, the IBB team quickly discovered that they had created something which other City fans were loving, and the only way that they can properly distribute their products to a wider audience, internationally – is via a well designed & developed online shop website.
The IBB guys were referred to us by one of our existing clients (Thank you, beers owed) , and they were great to work with, as they had such a strong idea of what they needed, how the website needed to look, and how it needed to work, for this reason this website was probably one of the easiest projects we have completed (and no IBB people, that doesn’t qualify you for a discount!)

Rotary screen engraving company Meshtex Ltd, who this year celebrate their 40th year in business, asked Web Master to design their new website.
We have worked with Meshtex for some time, and have developed a number of websites for the company, starting with their first photo gifts website Photo Image Art which we developed for them several years ago.
This website deals with their main business; rotary screen engraving & colour separations, which they have been doing since 1972, so the website is not as important as a new business tool as the other websites we have developed for their newer diversification ventures, however the website needed to look professional and deliver all of the necessary information & history about the company, for new and existing clients.

When you’re searching for SEO web design services, how do you know you’ve found a company who will be able to build you a website which not only looks great, gives the right impression to clients & therefore promotes good conversion rates, but which is also going to be successful in terms of SEO?
Do you go by how well the SEO is on the website of the SEO web design services website?
This is a bad idea for two reasons – 1, just because an SEO website design company has put a lot of effort into getting their own website to the top of Google for the relevant search terms, doesn’t mean that they do the same for their clients. 2. Web design firms often have an unfair advantage when it comes to backlinks, as we have many backlinks from our clients websites – plus, if the SEO company has been going for a number of years, then their domain age will be giving them a great advantage, so this isn’t a good example of how well they’ll do with your website, especially if your website is relatively new.
So how should you judge whether or not the company can build you a great search engine friendly website?
Simple – look at what they do for their other clients.

Automatic Doors Manchester.
Search Google for this term (and a number of related terms) and you will find our client SMI installations, towards the top of page one. Right now as I’m typing, it’s the 5th of October, just do a whois and you will see that this domain was only registered at the end of July this year, in fact the website had only been completed a couple of weeks when the client phoned me to tell me that he was shocked to find that they had hit page one of Google so quickly. I like calls like this.
Direct to Garment Printing
When we built this website, the client was literally blown away by how quickly the enquiries started coming in, they hit page one for a number of search terms (not only the search term that the domain is exact match for) within a few weeks. We were even quite shocked by just how quickly we got this site ranked. This was a couple of years ago, and the website has continued to do brilliantly – and if you think this is just non-competitive search terms, think again – this site is top of page one for “garment printing”, which has 1.4 million exact match competition! This website gets enquiries day in, day out, all due to the SEO friendly website design. There has been no off-page optimisation done on this website, backlinking etc.
Screen printing Machinery
Our client, Adelco, hit page one of Google for their main search terms including screen printing machinery, screen drying systems and a number of other search terms, with their new seo friendly website, within only a few weeks of going live.
Textile printing
Our client R A Smart hit high on page one of Google for this term, plus many other terms including fabric printing, & fabric printing equipment within only a few weeks of their new search engine friendly website going live.
photo cushions, personalised tea towels, and many more – our client Photo Image Art are page one for these terms, thanks to their SEO friendly website that we designed & developed.
Pressure Washing Berkshire and related search terms – our client Pave Save got onto page one of Google within a couple of weeks.
National Sameday Couriers , North West Couriers and related terms, our client MC Sameday Couriers, reached page one of google within a very reasonable time-frame.

We specialise in helping our clients to find great niche area’s within their industry, and then to build SEO friendly websites to rank on page one quickly to get the enquiries coming in – and to therefore ensure returns within a short time frame. This is a big difference to the way most website design firms work. Most web design companies design sites in a way which is suited to larger businesses with big pockets – if you’re a big company, you can just build a website, focus on the way it looks, the brand, and visitor experience, and then once the site is launched, you start dipping into the marketing budget, maybe spend ten grand a month on SEO, and hope for returns with a year or two – no problem for big business. If you’re a small business though, you need to be able to invest relatively small amounts, and see returns within weeks or months, as apposed to months or years.

Peter Fender, classical music conductor and composer – found Web Master Website Design via a Google search, spoke to us about his requirements, and decided we were the small business website design company to work with.
 The fact that we gain business not only via referral (which we do, as we have very happy clients but also via the search engines, shows that we know what we’re doing. We always find it slightly amusing – or bemusing – when “web marketing experts” contact businesses on the phone, to sell their web marketing services. Isn’t it saying something about the ability of such a company, if they resort to one of the lowest yield marketing activities in order to promote their services, instead of demonstrating that they have the skills they’re selling, by getting their own websites found for the search terms relevant to them?
But we digress – back to the Peter Fender project… Peter has been great to work with, while we work with a wide range of business clients, we do enjoy working with music & artists. Peters work is fantastic, and anyone who likes classical music would be well advised to check out his latest orchestral music CD.
The Peter Fender website has a lot of elements to it, various media types, schedule, repertoire and so on, some of which were fairly complex area’s to develop, but thankfully are not complex for the user.
We’re very happy with the look, feel and function of the Peter Fender website – and more importantly, so is our client!

R A Smart, of Bollington, Macclesfield, Cheshire, have been offering textile printing solutions for decades, and are one of the UK’s most successful suppliers of specialist digital and traditional textile printing machinery, and traditional and digital textile printing services.
The new R A Smart website shows off all of the company’s products and services, in a modern and professional way, while also highlighting their heritage as one of the UK’s longest established companies in the industry.
As a project, the challenge was in delivering a website which is easy to navigate and which provides a good user experience for a wide range of visitors from a range of different industries with differing requirements. R A Smart supply digital fabric printing equipment, screen textile printing machinery, small format textile printing equipment and consumables, digital textile printing services, screen textile printing, screen engraving, screen supplies… therefore it required some thought in order to create a user friendly environment.
We believe we did a great job of this, and when the customer visits the page, the experience is not one of confusion and intimidation – but it is instead a very simple process to find the required information and contact details.

Web Master Website Design offer effective search engine marketing services to UK businesses.
We’re a website design company, but our background is search engine marketing. Kevin John Lewis, MD of Web Master Website Design Ltd, has over 11 years experience in website marketing, having been a freelance search engine / website marketing consultant for much of this time.
Our search engine marketing services are different to most
1: All of our website marketing is managed by Kevin personally. When it comes to search engine marketing / website marketing, Kevin does not feel comfortable allowing others to manage client campaigns. This means that your search engine marketing work, from keyword research all the way through to off-page optimisation, is being managed by a marketing professional with over a decade of experience under his belt.
2: We only work with a small number of clients for website marketing services at any one time. On the downside, this may mean that we cannot take on your campaign straight away – on the upside, it means that our resources are not spread too thinly accross our clients – which means that we do a better job.
3: We do not tie our clients in to 12 month contracts! We do things based on when the results should be achieved, in other words – why plan a campaign to last 12 months if you want the results within 2-3 months? You don’t get the ROI from search engine marketing until you see the results – i.e. the search engine ranking positions, and it’s unusual that a client would want to see ROI in 12 months, certainly with smaller businesses ROI needs to be seen within 2-3 months – not 12. For this reason, we do everything in blocks of three months, so our clients are not committed to 12 months campaigns.
4: We share the risk. There is always a risk involved in any form of marketing, as you can never be 100% sure that you will get the results you’re aiming for – this is certainly the case with search engine marketing. More often than not, we do achieve what we set out to in the planned time frame, because we are experienced enough to know what we can achieve and we usually do what we know to the best of our abilities, however we’re not perfect, we can get things wrong & sometimes we don’t’ achieve the results expected within the planned time-frame, and we’re completely honest about that – it’s impossible to get it spot on every single time. We don’t think it’s fair to expect our clients to take all the risk, so we share it. We create three month campaigns, with objectives agreed in advance – and we invoice for the campaign, with 50% charged up-front, and 50% on successful completion. If we have not achieved the results agreed by the end of the three month campaign – we continue with the campaign at our cost, and we do not collect the remaining 50% payment until the results are achieved. If we never achieve the agreed results, we never collect the final 50%!

The websites we design & develop are built “from the ground up” with SEO in mind.
We start with keyword / search term selection. Often clients will come to us with an idea of the search terms their website needs to rank well on Google & the other search engines for, but having just an idea isn’t good enough – keyword selection is one of the most important elements of SEO, many websites fail to become assets to businesses, simply because the website is focused on the wrong keywords. It’s not as simple as just optimising your website for the most obvious keywords, there are a number of factors to consider when selecting search terms to ensure that you see ROI within a reasonable timeframe, choose the wrong terms and you may end up with a completely useless website as far as new business is concerned, get it right – and your website has the potential to become your most valuable asset.
Domain name selection is another important area of SEO website design. Having your website on a domain which is a strong keyword match for the most important search term, is a huge advantage. This isn’t to say that you cannot also have a brand domain name. For example, if your main search term is automatic widgets Manchester, then your SEO website domain name would be perfect as automaticwidgetsmanchester.co.uk, but if your company name is Smiths Widgets, then you can of course also have the name smithswidgets.co.uk, which you would put on your stationary & offline marketing, and which point to the same website. We will advise you on the best available keyword matching domains when we have done your keyword research.
Armed with the keyword data, we either create your website content (if required) or we optimise your current content, and then as we’re developing your website, we take care of the keyword mapping, which is another important & often overlooked element of SEO website design.
Then we do the on-page SEO, which means ensuring that each page is optimised for the keyword that page is to be focused upon, ensuring the keywords feature in the important areas such as URL, page title, meta description, header tags, alt image tags & linking.
We will then get your website indexed on Google & the other search engines, this involves some clever indexing strategies which usually ensures that our clients websites are indexed on Google the same day! Getting websites indexed on Google the traditional way, by submitting to Google, can take months! The usual fast track submission to Google involves some backlinking, and usually gets a website indexed within a few days to a few weeks – the techniques we use include a combination of different techniques to ensure super fast indexing on Google, usually within a few hours – and just slightly longer for Yahoo & Bing.
When completed, your website will have everything it needs to start developing rankings & traffic on Google, and at this stage we will then start to improve the off-page SEO for your website, which means building backlinks.
For SEO website design, we offer the same risk sharing agreement that we offer with our search engine marketing services – which means that we create objectives for a 3 month campaign – 50% is payable up front, and the remaining 50% is payable upon successful completion, if the objectives are not achieved at the end of the three month period, we continue to work on the campaign at our cost until the objectives are met, and we do not receive the final 50% payment from you until we succeed.

If you’re searching for information on the costs of search engine marketing, then read this.
First of all – just to clarify, I am talking here about organic search engine optimisation – not paid search. My opinion is that businesses should be very careful about pay per click search marketing – if you know what your conversion rate & your average visitor value is, then pay per click marketing may well be a good strategy for your business – if you don’t, and ig you have no idea what I’m on about, then you should probably avoid paid search at this time. Some business people are shocked to learn that they’re dramatically over spending on paid search. PPC can be fantastic but only if you know what your average visitor value is & you endure that the price per click you’re paying is under this – otherwise you cannot make a pa profit with paid search marketing.
So I’m talking now about organic, search engine optimisation, that is – getting your website found higher in the search engines for the important search terms for your business.
Effective search engine marketing services are not cheap – comparatively speaking, they’re actually very cheap. Put it this way – effective search engine marketing services can leave you with targeted traffic which converts to enquiries, for a long time after you have stopped paying for search engine marketing services – with paid search engine marketing, the traffic stops the second you stop paying – and the same is true of most other marketing methods. There are no other marketing methods quite like search marketing, in that once you’ve got your website into good positions for relevant search terms, traffic can continue to flow for a long time to come, even if you’re no longer investing in search engine marketing services!
But like I say, search engine marketing services are not cheap, in that you cannot realistically expect to get good results from search engine marketing for pennies.
Effective search marketing services are very valuable,and unlike traditional marketing, the work we do can continue bringing a return for our clients for a long time after they have made the investment. If you’re looking for cheap website marketing services, just ask yourself, why would anyone provide such a valuable service for a cheap price – especially given that there is a lot of time and effort involved in delivering effective search engine marketing services.
No 12 months Contracts. We Share The Risks!
We do things differently! Our search engine marketing campaigns are done in three months blocks. We create targets (search engine ranking positions) , and we charge 50% upfront – and the final 50% at the SUCCESSFUL completion of the campaign. If we have not achieved the targets by the end of the 3 months, we continue working on the campaign at our cost until we do achieve the targets, and the remaning 50% does not become payable until the results are achieved.
